April was a big month in Apptega-land. While tax season tried to break everyone's spirit, we delivered something to lift your mood: the first pieces of our new Assessment Manager.

Here’s a quick recap of everything that went live (and a peek at what’s coming next):

🚀 New Assessment Manager

We gave your assessment process a major upgrade—think flip phone to iPhone 16 level.

The new List View is now live in Apptega. This is just the beginning of a fully redesigned Assessment Manager, which will help you complete assessments up to 25% faster with better visibility, streamlined and customizable workflows, and simple bulk actions.  

Whether you’re handling internal assessments or managing clients, this is your new control center.

What’s New:

• Sort, filter, and search assessments with ease
• Track progress with new statuses like Draft and Archive
• Launch, edit assessments, and create reports right from the list
• See your most relevant info at a glance

If you’re a security provider, the new Assessment Manager helps you move beyond one-and-done assessments by allowing you to quickly pinpoint gaps, map them to business outcomes, and build a clear roadmap to remediation. This will make your service delivery differentiated, more scalable, and more valuable.

📚  New Knowledge Base

Starting April 2nd, we’re reintegrating your work brain and your support brain: our Knowledge Base is officially moving into the Apptega Community.

No more knowledge silos. No more tab toggling. No more “where did I see that again?”

Here’s what you can expect from this new experience:

• Unified Search – Support articles, community posts, and feature requests are now all findable in a single click.  
• Ask Where You Are – Got a question? Now you can drop it directly on the article you’re reading—no need to switch tabs or file a support request.
• More Collaboration – Learn from other users, share best practices, and join relevant discussions.

📝  Content Updates

CMMC v2.13 just landed

The final rule is here, and so is the newest version of CMMC—now officially known as CMMC v2.13. We’ve updated the framework, assessment, and taskpack for both Level 1 and Level 2, and they’re all live in production as of April 23.

Here’s what’s new:

• New control numbering scheme – Both Level 1 and 2 now use the updated format from the Cyber AB’s final rule.
• Level 1 got leaner – Some controls were combined, reducing the overall count.
• Same requirements, new packaging – While the structure’s changed, the content hasn’t. You’ll still be assessed against the same standards.
• Based on the official final rule – All content comes directly from the Cyber AB’s final release, so you’re getting the real deal—no guesswork needed.
