Definitions
“Apptega” is Apptega, Inc.
“Customer Data” is electronic data or information imported, uploaded or otherwise inputted into the Service by Customer or End-Users.
“Customers” are individuals or entities who purchase a subscription to the Service.
“End-Users” are individuals who use the Service.
“Personal Information” is information that identifies or could reasonably be linked to an individual.
“Service” is the Apptega Software as a Service platform as may be updated periodically, including any documentation or marketing content.
“Visitors” are individuals who visit the Website.

The Website
The Website only collects and uses the information necessary for legitimate business purposes pursuant to the Privacy Policy. Apptega limits the data it collects and uses to the extent possible. Apptega implements and maintains appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect personal information of Visitors from accidental or unlawful disclosure, loss, destruction, alteration, unauthorized access, or misuse. Apptega retains personal information collected through the Website for as long as necessary to further the legitimate business purposes of Apptega or as required by law, until a Visitor withdraws consent. After a Visitor withdraws consent, Apptega will delete or anonymize the information within a reasonable period of time to the extent technically and legally feasible. If deletion or anonymization is not feasible, Apptega will take all reasonable steps to cease using the personal information.

Even after Visitors opt-out of receiving promotional messages from Apptega, Visitors who are also Customers or End -Users that use the Service will continue to receive transactional messages. Visitors who use the Service may be able to opt- out of some messages in the Service account settings. Visitors may also restrict cookies within their browser settings. If Visitors restrict cookies, the Website may not function properly. The Website may not respond to “Do Not Track” functionality.
The Service
Apptega collects and uses information and data about its Customers and End-Users during and for the purchase, implementation, provision, support, and improvement of the Service. In order for the Service to perform as intended, the collection and use of information and data by Apptega is necessary and may not be removed or altered without degrading the Service.
The Service collects and uses Customer Data during and for the implementation, provision, login, usage, and technical support of the Service as well as the creation of records, reports, integrations and other business purposes. Apptega uses Customer Data to provide technical support to Customers and End-Users, improve the Service, and notify Customers and End-Users about changes to the Service.
Personal information collected by the Service is only shared with Apptega personnel and Apptega’s data sub-processors as needed to provide the Service, as permitted in the Privacy Policy or as required by law. Customer and End-User information is logged by the Service as needed to operate the Service and is accessible to Apptega, the Customer, End-User and other parties as permitted by the Customer or End-User. Except as provided for in the Privacy Policy, Apptega does not share or sell Customer Data to third parties.
Apptega may use and disclose information to third party service providers for: hosting, maintenance, backup, storage, virtual infrastructure, payment processing, analytics, and other services. Apptega may use and disclose Customer Data as needed to provide, support, or improve the Service as well as for analytics purposes.
The Service may also permit Customers to enable third party software integrations and applications which may also collect and use Customer Data. The collection and use of any Customer Data by such third parties is governed by the Customer’s agreements with those third parties.

A list of our authorized sub-processors can be accessed on our website. If you wish to be notified by email every time that we add a new sub-processor, add your client on your web site.
Privacy Rights of End Users and Third Parties in Customer Data
Apptega does not manage or control what information or data Customers collect or use in connection with the Service. End-Users and other third parties must contact the Customer to request access to information stored or used in the Service or exercise any other privacy rights including the rights of objection, correction, erasure/deletion, and portability.
Data Retention
Apptega retains Customer Data as long as the Customer has a Subscription Agreement and for the retention period set forth in the Subscription Agreement. Apptega may retain Customer Data beyond that period only as necessary to comply with any legal requirements it may be subject to or as adopted by information security industry standards.
Law Enforcement
Apptega may disclose Visitor or Customer Data or personal information to law enforcement, regulatory bodies or government agencies, courts or third parties when (i) required by law to comply with a court order, subpoena, request for information, or other legal process; (ii) enforce the terms of the Subscription Service Agreement; (iii) defend, protect, or assert Apptega's legal rights or those of its Customers as needed; or (iv) in connection with any proposed merger, acquisition, sale or transfer of Apptega's assets, dissolution, restructuring, liquidation, or similar event.
Compliance Inquiries
Inquiries or complaints regarding Apptega's compliance may be directed to privacy@Apptega.com. Visitors and Customers can contact Apptega regarding its Website privacy practices or submit a Data Access Request by completing our Data Access Request form [click] or emailing privacy@apptega.com.
Individuals may bring a complaint directly to Apptega, and Apptega must respond to the individual within 45 days. Children
The Website and Service are not intended for use by minors. Personal information of children under age 13 should not be submitted to the Website or the Service.
Events
Apptega may obtain, collect, and use information from attendees at conferences, training, events and promotional functions (“Event Participants”). Such information will only be used for Apptega's legitimate business and marketing purposes and Apptega will not sell, disclose, or otherwise transfer such personal information. Event Participants may revoke their consent to be included on Apptega's marketing lists at any time thereafter by contacting Apptega at privacy@Apptega.com or by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of emails and following any subsequent instructions.

Apptega may change and update the Privacy Policy s as permitted or required by law. When Apptega makes material changes or updates to its Privacy Policy, Apptega will provide notice via email to Visitors who have submitted personal information to the Website or the Service and will explain the material changes.
